I’m Lavanya — a software engineer by day and a happy explorer of flavours at heart. Cooking is where I slow down and find my little pocket of nirvana.

My travels through Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the USA, and especially Italy taught me so much — from fresh pasta to pizza and lasagna. Every place added something special to the way I cook. My favourite chef, James Martin, inspires the warm, comforting style I love.

I experienced the MasterChef UK 2024 auditions, participated at the International Salon Culinaire, and trained with the British Nutrition Foundation to design healthier, balanced recipes. I’m also certified in allergen awareness and food hygiene, because doing things properly and safely matters to me.

Every recipe at Anavrin carries a memory and a bit of my heart.
